Old castles with their links to the past often conjure up pictures of ghosts and paranormal events. Craig-y-Nos Castle is no exception and has established a reputation amongst "ghost watchers" who have experienced  the special aura which captivates all those who sense it.  As the former home of Opera Diva Adelina Patti who was embalmed in its cellars, and later as a T.B Hospital where many succumbed to their illness, the Castle has a rich history of both dramatic and tragic events

A number of television programs  have been made of the paranormal activities at Craig-y-Nos Castle and there has been so much interest from people wanting to experience them themselves that we now organise "Ghost Watch Tours". Participants can now record and share their experiences whilst staying in The Castle overnight.

We can only run one tour per night, so it is pretty exclusive – you won’t be in a large crowd. Your group will be led by Stephen Graham, chief investigator for ‘The Paranormal World’ investigative team.

Ghost Tours and Prices

1) Overnight In-Depth Paranormal Investigation finishing circa 3.30 / 4.00 am with Dinner, Bed and late Breakfast @ £99 per person assuming two sharing. (A second night’s B&B can be added from  just £42.50 per person). 

2) Two Hour late evening Ghost Tour @ £20.00 including light refreshment (B & B guests can pay £10 for tour only). 
 
3) Accommodation B&B in non-ensuite from £31.25 per person assuming two sharing. Dormitory option at £24.00 per head.
 
4) Accommodation B&B in en-suite from £42.50 per person, assuming two sharing

Ghost tours at Craig-y-Nos Castle are organised and supervised by "THE PARANORMAL WORLD"

A 2 hour Ghost Tours can be booked any of the seven weekend evenings above (subject to availability) with no minimum number, OR you can make up your own group for any other evening provided you have a minimum of 5 people (which can sometimes be made up by joining other residents). 

Conducted by The Paranormal World, the Ghost Tours will cover the entire castle and you will gain an understanding of the history of the castle. Also you will receive training in the use of paranormal investigatory equipment plus get to use it on the tour!  
This is an ideal opportunity for you to get an insight into what paranormal investigating is about and to fine tune your psychic skills for the full ALL-NIGHT ‘Dusk-till-Dawn’ investigations. 
Enjoy a round table discussion with the Paranormal World Team afterwards, in the warm and cosy Patti Bar. Here you will get to meet (in person no less) the awesome chief paranormal investigator Mr. Steven Graham, with whom you will be able to discuss your experiences on the Tour.

Steve Graham is the founder of The Paranormal World, the foremost paranormal investigation group in the UK, and is ably assisted by team member and paranormal investigators Kelly, Ben and Jason. 
Craig Y Nos Castle are please to announce that ghost tours now run through out the week throughout its entire structure. Lead by The Paranormal World, there are two types of tours – family tours and adult tours. 

Adult Tours - From £10 each, running from 7pm – 11pm (last tour 9pm)
Lasts approx. 2 to 3 hours and suitable only for those over 16 (14 if with parent/guardian), covers entire castle including resting place of Adelina Patti, basements and derelict areas. You will get basic training on paranormal investigatory equipment such as EMF meters, Negative Ion Detectors & Canums. Please book in advance.

Overnight In-Depth Paranormal Investigations (Price: £99.00) are comprehensive investigations for a maximum of 12 people per group and are ideal for those with a more intense interest. Unlike the Ghost Tours (featured above), these are all-night investigations, finishing around dawn. You should have been on a Ghost Tour and had some training and practice in using the investigative equipment before joining the Paranormal World team on an all-night investigation. 

You will find it exclusive and very personal. It includes a two course evening meal, bed & breakfast in an en-suite room (subject to availability – otherwise in a nice non en-suite). There is then an extended late tour, with warm-up breaks by a log fire as needed and a late breakfast is available by arrangement with the organisers. 

Champagne Ghost Walks

These are an ideal way to spend a summers evening. Join The Paranormal World for a walk around the grounds of Craig Y Nos Castle and the surrounding Country Park whilst the basic history, past experiences and ghostly happenings are relived between short stops at key areas for a glass or two of bubbly and some light bites.

These walks are suitable for over 12's and we recommend you bring insect repellent with you as well as a torch and a jacket. This provides a great opportunity to experience Craig Y Nos at dusk with its many surprises.

Unlike the Ghost Tours (featured above), most of this walk takes place outdoors, however should the weather not permit, a ghost tour can be provided in its place should the participants prefer.
