Mother's Day Carvery

Celebrate Mother's Day at the Castle and treat your mother to a carvery lunch. You can relax in the Patti Bar by the open fire, take a walk around the castle grounds or even book a room for the night.  Why not really treat your mother and book a Special Break.

Our 2 course Sunday Carvery is the ideal dining experience. With two organised sittings (at 1pm and 3pm) everyone is shown to their table and served as they are ready to eat.

Help yourself to the starter course and then when you are ready our chefs will serve you your choice of meats. Our succulent honey roast ham, prime beef and tender roast pork are the talk of the Swansea Valley and, if you find a second helping irresistable, just go back for more.

You will dine on fine white linen in Adelina Patti's magnificent music room, where she entertained heads of state and the World's rich and famous.

Our guests regularly comment on the special ambience of the room which has been recently restored to its former glory.

Chocolate Coronet Pavlova

A coronet of dark chocolate filled with crunchy meringue and rich chocolate ice cream. Oozing with white chocolate sauce and finished with meringue pieces and a dusting of cocoa powder.

Raspberry Pavlova

A simply wonderful strawberry ice cream with fruit pieces piped onto an Italian meringue base. Coupled with a raspberry puree and the creamiest of vanilla ices and crowned with a light and crunchy meringue rosette.

Go Mango

The tantalisingly tropical taste of real mango with delectable mango ice cream topped with the creamiest of vanilla ices. Covered with a cascade of exotic mango sauce and decorated with a hand piped chocolate crest. 

Lemon & Lime Zing

A tangy but delicious combination of lemon and lime ice creams separated by a mouth watering lemon sauce complimented by its crunchy base. decorated with a handmade chocolate display and a slice of lime.

Bread & Butter Pudding

A traditional and truly delicious all-time favourite. Served hot with either cream or vanilla ice cream

Strawberry Swan

A stunningly delicate creation bringing together crunchy meringue, real fruit strawberry ice cream, and a delicious strawberry sauce. White chocolate flavoured wings are piped onto a bed of soft vanilla ice cream and finished with a white chocolate swan's neck.

Gooseberry & Apple Treacle Crunch

Tangy, homely and warming. The filling simply oozes the lovely flavours of gooseberries and Bramley apples. The fruit sits on a treacle tart style mixture surrounded by a crunchy chewy crumble. It is served hot with a vanilla sauce.

Black and Redcurrant Crumblies

A mouth watering individual crumble filled with a delicious blackcurrant and redcurrant  fruit mixture and served with a smooth vanilla sauce.
